You Don’t Have a Content Problem. You Have a Presence Problem

Most non-fiction authors think they have a content problem.

They don’t.

They have a presence problem.

They keep asking, “What should I post?”

Wrong question. The better question is, “Where am I showing up?”

Pick one platform.

Just one.

And stop treating it like a megaphone.

Treat it like a place you actually visit.

Read. Notice patterns. Leave comments that move the conversation forward.

Ask questions you’re genuinely curious about.

Not to be seen.

Not to sell.

Just to engage.

Do that long enough, and people recognize your name.

They click your profile without being told to.

Your posts stop sounding forced because they’re shaped by real conversations.

Your platform isn’t built by broadcasting.

It’s built by participating.

Stay focused on what you can control.
