The Only Impact Worth Chasing as an Author
Almost every author I’ve met believes, on some level, that their book can change lives.
And they’re not wrong.
It’s never about everyone reading it.
It’s about the right people reading it and walking away with a different lens, a different decision, a different direction.
That’s where the real impact is made, usually in the quiet moments you never see coming:
A message that says, “Your book saved my marriage.”
A client who tells you, “I finally left the job that was draining the life out of me.”
A reader who confesses, “I didn’t feel alone anymore.”
Those moments are the fuel.
They’re why authors push through exhaustion, fight with every paragraph, and keep coming back to the page even when it’s brutal.
Because a book isn’t just ink and paper.
It’s a bridge from your experience to someone else’s transformation.
If you’re an author, don’t lose sight of that.
You’re not writing for “readers.”
You’re writing for the one person who will close your book and say:
“Because of you, I see things differently now.”
That’s the impact worth chasing.
Keep thriving and showing up.
