Stop Starting with ‘I Wrote a Book Because…

Authors do this all the time.

They start their book marketing with “I wrote a book because…”

Wrong move.

Your audience doesn’t wake up wondering about you.

They wake up wondering about themselves.

Hook them with something that makes them nod and say,

“Yeah, that’s me.”

Then show them how your book answers that need.

I had a conversation a few weeks back with my friend Noah Giansiracusa's approach on how he gained traction with his work and book.
