Batch, Schedule, Repeat
The one thing I wish more authors did long term is simple and effective.
Simple when someone points it out, of course.
Batching content work.
Being visible and staying consistent on any platform is hard. What I've learned to do over time is batch my work.
Never write a single post and share it.
Always write three to five posts in a Google Doc.
Clean them up, and schedule them for the days ahead.
Never make a single video, edit it, and post it while waiting for it to go viral.
Always make three to five videos in one sitting, shorts or long form.
Clean them up by sending them to an editor, approve them, and schedule them for the weeks ahead.
Batching is hands down the best system I've seen work over and over again.
Instead of stressing over a single post, you're writing to stay visible, top of mind, sharing your work and experiences.
Spending an hour or two a week writing and scheduling, then spending the rest of your time engaging, commenting, and connecting with people, makes the platform clean, easy, and not a burden.
Metrics aren't judging you.
They're telling you what works so you can do more of it later.
Sometimes a post or video does really well, sometimes it doesn't, but what can't stop is the batching and the scheduling.
Keep growing.
